HyperCell_Spatail Application




After creating several pre-set furniture pieces, 
applying for the spatial needs is indeed needed to be 
considered as the next step.

在創造一系列預設的家具之後
下一步即是如何將級應用於空間需求中

If we think of each of the furniture as a body part to build up the living creature,
then we can metaphor the spatial function as a specific species.
The diagram above (cover) explains this idea.
We need to combine certain furniture inside the space for certain function.
It's more like an Object-Oriented idea in programming.
In the other words, through different combination of the furniture,
people define their spatial needs.

如果我們將家具看成是我們身體的各個部位去建構生物
那麼我們就可以說不同空間的機能就如同不同的生物種類
上面(封面)的圖說試圖解釋這樣的想法
我們必須具備幾種特定家具來形成某種空間機能
這是偏向於電腦程式中物件導向的觀念
所以透過不同家具組合 我們定義了不同的空間機能

The good thing of these HyperCell component is that they can transform
from one furniture to the other one or two or even more objects.
Based on the time frame of the users inside the space,
they can manage their needs by these transformable furniture.

HyperCell在這例子裡的優越性是他具可變動的特性
他可以從一個物件轉換成另一個或多個不同物件
基於使用者的時間變異的空間需求
使用者可以透過變形的家具來符合其空間需求.

The research started to analyse a single individual person as a base
to study what will they need for a space in their daily life.
Within these transformable furniture, they will not need
specific space for specific spatial usage.
They can use a single space for multiple usage.

本研究以研究單身使用者為開始
去研究其一天所需的空間需求
運用這些可變動的家具
他們不需為了不同機能而需要不同空間
僅需一個空間就可達到多功能的機能使用

In this case, we try to use 4 major objects to fulfill all the spatial needs analysed.
With 4 transformable furniture objects, it shows the diversity and the flexibility of using
the HyperCell Furniture.

在這個實驗中 我們透過四個主要物件試圖去滿足所有分析出來的空間需求.
透過這四個主要的變形家具物件
它展現了使用HyperCell空間的多樣性與彈性

Here are the experiment of different spatial needs:
這裡就是各種不同需求的呈現

The space will become a "Furniture-Driven" space,
which means the space will be changed based on the furniture within it.

空間將變成是一種 家具驅動的空間
換句話說 空間機能可因著內部家具不同而變動

We would like to put this HyperCell into market as a furniture component.
People purchase several of these transformable component home
and change them to fit their spatial needs 
 with their time-frame.

我們企望這HyperCell可以進入市場
人們僅需買數個變異的單元就可以使其空間產生變化
以符合其時間上的使用機能

2 communication will become important in the future.
The first is the communication between user and objects.
The other is the communication between objects themselves.

兩種溝通在位將會變得非常重要
第一種即是使用者與物件的溝通
第二種即是物件彼此之間的溝通
