Build Organs...

With the 3D printer (Ultimaker2), we have the chance to realize the swarmmy mesh idea.
(Look at this post).
But instead of chair, we are printing more like jewelry scale objects.

Through the process, it shows how to create this kind of organic shape
from software to hardware, from design to fabrication.
The processing code is developed for designers to draw basic attraction line
to make the swarm agents follow.
While agents following along the line, the location with high agents density
will start to create smooth meshes.

After the designer has gotten the overall shape, just save the .stl file
and they can easily import it into the CURA
( which is an open source software working along
with Ultimaker 2.)

By rotating, scaling or mirroring, we can search the optimized printing process
in order to save the printing time but also get the idea of printing procedure.

By sending the .stl file with SD card, we should be able to get our print.
In this case, we are trying to make more organic form
instead of building simple geometry shape,
which makes more sense to use 3D printer for production.

Now we get our organic shape 3D prints!!!!!

Some more previous prints by the same method and process:
